Light circles and light forms

For the past 15-20 years, a mysterious phenomenon has appeared in countries all over the world. Crosses and other forms made of light can be seen on house walls, but may also flow freely through the air. Without any apparent source for this light, a glowing cross or other shapes appear. These forms are best seen when the sun shines, but no one has been able to identify the mysterious light source. A unique quality of this phenomenon is that people who have witnessed these forms say that the sight of these – especially the crosses – have instilled in them a renewed joy of living, supplying a type of healing energy. Others feel that the light crosses are a symbol of the return of the Christ energy on earth. There are no scientific hypotheses to explain these occurrences, and they are a mystery to scientists all over the world. (Freely summarized and translated from the book "Menneskehetens mysterier" by Herbert Genzmer and Ulrich Hellenbrand. It is available in English as "Mysteries of the World".)

Orbs
- not to be mistaken for balls of light, see link to the left.

Orbs are small, round spheres or spots that may vary in size and colour, and sometimes appear in photographs. Photographers are not aware of these when making the shot. The patterns inside the orbs vary, and they may at times look like crop circle patterns. Some claim that orbs often show up on pictures taken during spiritual exercises, like meditations, healing sessions etc., and in powerful energy sites, within crop circles, etc. Orbs may often be confused with dust or digital particles and lens reflexes, which may occur in pictures taken with cameras of varying quality. The "real" orbs, if one may use such a term, are round, usually have a clear pattern within, and may be of varying colours, patterns and sizes.

Here are some photos of orbs, taken by Eirin Østgård and Hakan Köhler.
